Study conditions
In a six-month room-temperature study, serum and cream containing 1% AC-HPR-S10 had no detectable retinoic acid (HPLC detection limit: 0.0653 µg/mL). This endpoint measures retinoic acid, not retained HPR concentration. Separately, 1%, 5% and 10% AC-HPR-W2 SACOS water dispersions showed little visible change over 21 days at room temperature.
