FAQ

AC-SAP questions

Does SAP replace sunscreen filters?

No. It is an antioxidant ingredient, not a replacement for UV filters or finished-product SPF testing.

Is Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate the same ingredient as Ascorbyl Palmitate?

They are different vitamin C derivatives. SAP uses a water-phase formulation route; Ascorbyl Palmitate is oil-soluble.
