AC-VBE

BACKGROUND

The incorporation of thermogenic agents into cosmetics induces a pleasant warming sensation on the skin, promoting blood circulation and enhancing the absorption efficiency of active ingredients. However, traditional thermogenic agents such as capsaicin and ginger extract, when present in excessive concentrations or used persistently, may cause prolonged skin irritation and a pronounced burning sensation. Furthermore, as these agents are predominantly plant extracts, they carry a higher risk of triggering allergic reactions. In response, ANECO has developed AC-VBE, an innovative thermogenic agent offering an enhanced user experience. It maintains a sustained warming sensation while significantly reducing skin irritation, providing a gentler yet highly effective option for thermo-sensory product formulations.

ADVANTAGES

1. Rapid onset with prolonged warmth sensation

AC-VBE delivers an intense thermal sensation within approximately two minutes, lasting for several hours.

2. Low impurity content and high purity

Unlike conventional preparation methods involving halogenation followed by dehydrogenation, ANECO employs a direct one-step reaction with butanol to produce AC-VBE with minimal impurities and high purity.

3. Mild and Low-Irritation

Compared to primary warming agents like capsaicin and ginger extracts, AC-VBE delivers a gentler, longer-lasting warming sensation with significantly reduced irritation, making it suitable for a wider range of skin types.

4. Low dosage, high efficacy

AC-VBE delivers noticeable warming effects at concentrations as low as 0.05%-0.5%, exhibiting several times the thermal intensity of typical chilli extracts.

5. Synergistic effect with cooling agents

Blending with cooling agents (e.g., menthol) enhances cooling sensations and prolongs their duration.

EFFICACIES

1. Generates a warming sensation

AC-VBE activates TRPV1 receptors (capsaicin receptors) in the skin, opening calcium ion channels and depolarising nerve endings. This thermal sensation is neurosensory in nature, with no significant change in actual skin temperature.

2. Accelerates metabolism for slimming and body contouring

AC-VBE accelerates subcutaneous fat metabolism through localised heating and induces vasodilation by stimulating skin nerve endings, thereby enhancing local blood flow. When formulated into massage products, it helps alleviate muscle soreness and promotes slimming effects.

3. Enhances Absorption and Permeability

When combined with active ingredients such as retinol, AC-VBE significantly increases skin absorption rates (transdermal absorption reaching 15%-30%) . Its warming effect temporarily dilates pores and stimulates local microcirculation, further enhancing penetration efficiency.

4. Scalp Health Support

AC-VBE markedly reduces reactive oxygen species accumulation and inflammatory responses triggered by air pollution factor PM2.5. It increases synthesis of hair growth factors while inhibiting production of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), the “follicle killer”. This strengthens hair roots and inhibits hair loss.
