Chemical Synthesis

AC-M68 SV is a natural O/W alkyl polyglucoside emulsifier with self-emulsifying effects. lts lipophilic aliphatic group and hydrophilic glucose group are both of plant origin, free of solvents and irritating by-products.

Moreover, it has excellent emulsifying properties, which can promote the formation of liquid crystals in the formula system, giving the product a silky and plump skin feel and unique moisturizing and sustained-release functions.

ADVANTAGES

1. Wide emulsification range

Shows excellent electrolyte resistance and can freely add salts (such as sodium chloride), acidic or alkaline ingredients without worrying about demulsification or thinning of lotion, greatly improving the flexibility and stability of the formula.

2. Silky smooth skin feel

Bring a unique 'melting' feeling, is easy to spread, and has no greasy or heavy feeling, forming a lightweight, breathable and smooth film. After use, the skin feels silky and soft, significantly enhancing the high-end feel and user pleasure of the product.

3. 100% natural origin

derived from plant-based glucose and aliphatic chains, with Nol-1 and no solvents, representing clean formulation.

4. Stable with active ingredients

effectively encapsulate and protect sensitive active ingredients including vitamins (such as vitamin A and vitamin C derivatives), plant extracts, etc., reducing their degradation caused by factors such as light and heat.

EFFICACIES

• Excellent formula compatibility, non-irritating

Can be harmoniously compatible with various oil phases (from light silicone oil, synthetic esters to natural vegetable oils), other surfactants, and film-forming agents. Its non-ionic properties make it widely adaptable to pH values and less likely to antagonize ionic active substances.

• lmprove effective delivery of active ingredients

The spontaneously formed layered liquid crystal structure can simultaneously encapsulate hydrophilic and lipophilic active substances. This structure not only protects the active ingredient from deactivation during storage, but also interacts with skin lipids after application to achieve slow and sustained release, thereby prolonging the action time, improving the bioavailability of the active ingredient, and ensuring maximum skin care efficacy.

• Prolongs product stability

By building a solid three-dimensional liquid crystal network, this combination can fundamentally improve the physical and chemical stability of lotion, and effectively resist delamination, water separation and deterioration problems caused by high temperature, freezing, mechanical shearing or long-term standing. Meanwhile, this structure can also reduce the self oxidation of oil phase or active ingredients, thereby extending the shelf life and service life of the product in all aspects.

• Long-lasting moisturization

The liquid crystal film formed on the surface of the skin can mimic and supplement the intercellular matrix, effectively reducing transdermal water loss. This moisturizing effect is not a brief 'sense of closure', but rather achieves deep hydration from the inside out for several hours by continuously and stably providing moisture to the stratum corneum, repairing and enhancing the skin's own moisturizing barrier function, thereby keeping the skin soft and smooth.

FAQ

Q1: What is the primary function of Cetearyl Glucoside & Cetearyl Alcohol?

A1: They work synergistically primarily as a gentle non-ionic emulsifier system. Cetearyl Alcohol provides structure and improves sensory properties (e.g., thickening, adding richness to creams), while Cetearyl Glucoside helps it form a more stable and fine emulsion structure. They also offer some emollient and moisturizing benefits.

Q2: What is the structure of liquid crystal, and what are its advantages?

A2: Liquid crystal structure is an intermediate phase between liquid (disordered) and solid (highly ordered) states. When specific emulsifiers (such as AC-M68 SV) coexist in the oil and water phases in appropriate proportions and processes, they spontaneously arrange into highly ordered, periodic structures.

5 major advantages:

Super stability: "Multi layer armor" provides physical barrier, thermodynamic stability, and significantly extends shelf life.

Active substance slow-release: "Reserve warehouse" type packaging, protecting and slow-release active substances (including retinol, vitamin C, etc.).

Long term moisturizing and barrier repair: Simulate the sebum membrane, form a water locking network, significantly reduce transcutaneous water loss (TEWL), and repair the skin barrier.

Excellent skin feel: silky and easy to push, with a rich texture without the traditional waxy or greasy feeling of fat and alcohol.

Enhanced penetration: temporarily disrupts the stratum corneum, serving as a reversible penetration enhancer to promote the absorption of active ingredients.
