Homosalate is a commonly used oil-soluble liquid UVB sunscreen agent with an absorption wavelength of 295-315nm. It has high stability and can protect the skin from sun damage which can lead to skin cancer in the long run. It also has a good solubilizing effect on solid organic UV sunscreens.
