DESCRIPTION
PEG-30 Dipolyhydroxystearate has excellent moisturizing, emollient, conditioning and emulsifying effects. It can be used to produce W/O emulsion with high internal phase, making the emulsion system more diversified. In addition, PEG-30 Dipolyhydroxystearate is capable of dispersing solids, including pigments, in the oil phase of W/O emulsions, which has particular value for formulations of high-performance make-up products and sun care products.

PROPERTIES
- Moisturizing skin care effect:
Due to the presence of lipophilic groups at both ends of PEG-30 Dipolyhydroxystearate, it is in the outer layer in the water-in-oil system, so that the moisture on the skin surface is not easy to volatilize, so as to avoid skin dryness caused by moisture evaporation. During the use of water-in-oil products, as the product spreads on the surface of the skin, the water wrapped in the middle is slowly released, which not only keeps the original moisture of the skin from being evaporated, but also further replenishes the skin's moisture to achieve dual functions of moisturizing and hydrating.
- Emulsification:
Different from general water-in-oil emulsifiers, PEG-30 Dipolyhydroxystearate is an A-B-A block copolymer with a molecular weight of about 5000. During the emulsification process, due to its large volume and long chain, the lipophilic group forms a special three-dimensional structure that is not easy to rotate on the surface of the emulsion, so that the entire emulsification system maintains a high degree of stability.
- Excellent compatibility:
As an emulsifier, PEG-30 Dipolyhydroxystearate can not only be used alone, but also be used in combination with other W/O emulsifiers. It is helpful in terms of product appearance and stability. The percentage of oil phase in the water-oil system can be further reduced.
STORAGE AND STANBILITY

- Using method:
When preparing a dispersion, first dissolve the dispersant in the carrier liquid and then add the pigment. The amount of dispersant required for each pigment grade needs to be optimized. The recommended starting level is usually a 25% increase in the dispersant volume required for the lowest viscosity.
